JAKARTA – Pelatih baru Timnas Indonesia, Patrick Kluivert telah tiba di Jakarta dan akan dikenalkan ke publik pada Minggu, 12 Januari 2025, pukul 15.30 WIB.
Kluivert mendarat di Bandara Internasional Soekarno-Hatta, menggunakan maskapai KLM Royal Dutch Airlines KL 809, pada Sabtu, 11 Januari 2025 malam WIB.
Juru taktik anyar Tim Garuda pengganti Shin Tae-yong (STY) itu tiba di tanah air ditemani asisten pelatihnya di Timnas Indonesia, Denny Landzaat.
Kehadiran Kluivert dan Landzaat disambut antusias penggemar di bandara, sang pelatih baru itu pun mendapat pengawalan petugas keamanan saat dikerubungi awak media.
PSSI rencananya memperkenalkan Kluivert kepada publik sore ini, sekaligus memberi undangan resmi ke pihak media di kawasan Jakarta Pusat.
Adapun, pesan penting yang baru-baru ini disampaikan Kluivert untuk sekaligus meredam kekhawatiran penggemar Garuda atas kabar mendadak PSSI yang memecat STY pada Senin, 6 Januari 2025.
• Kluivert: Suporter Garuda Sungguh Fantastis
Dalam unggahan Instagram terbaru Timnas Indonesia @timnasindonesia yang tayang pada Minggu, 12 Januari 2025, Kluivert memberikan sanjungan untuk para penggemar sepak bola Tanah Air.
“Para pendukung Indonesia sangat fantastis. Passion yang mereka miliki saya sangat menyukainya,” ucap Kluivert.
Juru taktik asal Belanda itu pun menyoroti suporter Garuda yang memberikan kontribusi besar bagi hasil yang diraih oleh tim ke depan
“Mereka berkontribusi pada elemen positif yang tim butuhkan. Semua orang tahu bahwa tanpa passion fans, akan sangat sulit untuk meraih hal-hal besar,” tegas Kluivert.
“Jadi, saya sangat gembira bahwa fans Indonesia sangat bersemangat,” lanjutnya.
• Soroti Budaya Sepak Bola Tanah Air
Dalam kesempatan berbeda, Kluivert menuturkan pengalaman barunya melatih Timnas Indonesia adalah sebuah tanggung jawab yang besar.
“Luar biasa, ini sebuah tanggung jawab besar bagi saya menjadi pelatih utama negara besar seperti Indonesia,” terangnya dalam cuplikan video Twitter resmi Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano, pada Rabu, 8 Januari 2025.
Selain itu, Kluivert menyoroti culture atau budaya sepak bola Tanah Air yang tampak bersatu padu membela Tim Garuda.
“Seperti di Belanda, negara besar ini (Indonesia) memiliki budaya sepak bola yang luar biasa juga ambisi yang besar membela tim nasional Indonesia,” tambahnya.
• Tujuannya Adalah Bawa Garuda Terbang ke Piala Dunia
Kluivert menuturkan pernyataan tegas terkait upayanya membawa Timnas Indonesia tampil di ajang terbesar sepak bola, Piala Dunia.
Sejauh ini, Marselino cs bertengger di peringkat ke-3 klasemen sementara Grup C Kualifikasi Round 3 Piala Dunia 2026.
Legenda klub kenamaan di Spanyol, FC Barcelona itu masih memiliki kesempatan besar untuk membawa Garuda lolos asalkan mampu meraih hasil positif di 4 laga terakhir Grup C.
Kluivert menilai, hal yang penting untuk mewujudkan impian menuju Piala Dunia adalah persatuan semua pihak, mulai dari federasi PSSI hingga suporter Tim Garuda.
